Time for a quick ‘faire report’: we had a great time today at Bearwood Handmade Winter Faire.
The venue was a lovely old Church Hall decorated with plenty of paper snowflakes. There were loads of great stalls selling a wide variety of cool stuff. All the vendors were really nice — particularly the stallholders on our left and right; Caroline and Janet.
It was good and busy all day, and we kept up a fairly steady stream of sales. The cards and postcards sold particularly well; the Truth About Santa Claus and Where Do Candy Canes Come From? were the best sellers – proof that people are hungry for the truth!
It was really nice to hear all the positive feedback on the jewellery and cards – it’s one of the big reasons we like doing this sort of thing. Also, a big shout out to the few people that mentioned the blog – nice to know were not just writing this for ourselves!
So, all in all, this is easily the best craft faire we’ve participated in.
There’s also another Bearwood Handmade faire on the 3rd December – we won’t be there, but I still recommend you check it out.
Our next craft faire is the We Love Making Things Christmas Faire on 11th December at the Newhampton Arts Centre, Wolverhampton. Come and see us!
